Manders-Huits, N.L.J.L. (Noëmi)
Research profile
Noëmi is now in her final year of her PhD research on ‘Moral Considerations concerning Identity in Identity Management and Profiling Technologies.’ She studied philosophy and business administration at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. She received her M.A. in (general) Philosophy in 2002 and graduated in 2004 as M.A. in Philosophy of Information Technology on a Master’s Thesis on the philosophical semantics of personal data. Noëmi’s main research interest is in values in design and self-identity. In addition, she is managing editor of Springer’s journal Ethics and Information Technology and teaches in this area.
