David Koepsell on Intellectual Property at Cardozo Law School, NY City
On October 21st at 12.00 Dr David Koepsell will give a lecture at Cardozo Law School in New York titled “The Ethical Case Against Intellectual Property”. Dr Koepsell, Senior Researcher of 3TU.Ethics, is an attorney beside a philosopher and his recent research focuses on the nexus of science, technology, ethics and public policy. His most recent book goes on patenting genes.

Intreerede ‘De grenzen van de mens’

Peter-Paul Verbeek, door het College van Bestuur van de Universiteit Twente per 1 januari 2009 benoemd tot hoogleraar Filosofie van Mens en Techniek, zal ter gelegenheid van zijn ambtsaanvaarding een rede uitspreken. De titel van zijn rede luidt: De grens van de mens: over techniek, ethiek en de menselijke natuur. De intreerede is openbaar toegankelijk en u bent van harte welkom.
