David Koepsell on Intellectual Property at Cardozo Law School, NY City

On October 21st at 12.00 Dr David Koepsell will give a lecture at Cardozo Law School in New York titled “The Ethical Case Against Intellectual Property”. Dr Koepsell, Senior Researcher of 3TU.Ethics, is an attorney beside a philosopher and his recent research focuses on the nexus of science, technology, ethics and public policy. His most recent book goes on patenting genes

Peter-Paul Verbeek, door het College van Bestuur van de Universiteit Twente per 1 januari 2009 benoemd tot hoogleraar Filosofie van Mens en Techniek, zal ter gelegenheid van zijn ambtsaanvaarding een rede uitspreken. De titel van zijn rede luidt: De grens van de mens: over techniek, ethiek en de menselijke natuur. De intreerede is openbaar toegankelijk en u bent van harte welkom.
