World Technology Award 2010: nominate your candidate!

The 2010 World Technology Summit & Awards will be held in the Time Conference Center in the historic Time & Life Building in New York City on June 24th and 25th.
Last year winner for the section Ethics was Professor Dr Jeroen van den Hoven, Scientific Director of 3TU.Ethics. You may now propose a nomination through the WTN dedicated website here

The World Technology Awards are presented each year by the World Technology Network (WTN) in association with TIME magazine, Fortune, CNN, Science/AAAS among others. The World Technology Awards have been presented since 2000 to the outstanding innovators within the science/technology arena for the innovative work of the greatest likely long-term significance - both as a way to honor those innovators, and as a vetting mechanism to determine the newest WTN members. Each year, nominations are made both by current individual WTN members (primarily winners/finalists for previous Award cycles) and directly by those such as yourself. Current individual WTN members are the ones who vote their preference among the nominee pool from within their particular Award category. The Award winners are announced in a “black-tie” gala ceremony at the close of the annual World Technology Summit.
