Sabine Roeser was awarded a VIDI grant for her project on Moral Emotions & Risk Politics

Sabine Roeser, Managing Director of 3TU.Ethics and Assistant Professor at the Philosophy Section of Delft University, was awarded the prestigious VIDI grant of the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research NWO for her project on Moral Emotions & Risk Politics. NWO presented the outcomes of the Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Innoveren (MVI) Programme

On November 18, at the Nemo Science Centre in Amsterdam, NWO presented the outcomes of the program Socially Responsible Innovation (Dutch: Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Innoveren) in front of an international audience of scientists working on topics ranging from human enhancement to ethical issues in healthcare technologies

Peter-Paul Verbeek is appointed as extraordinary Socrates professor at Delft University

Peter-Paul Verbeek is appointed as extraordinary Socrates professor in Human Enhancement (0,2 fte) at the Philosophy Deprtment of Delft University of Technology.

Professor Verbeel is also a professor of philosophy of technology at the Department of Philosophy, University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, and director of the international master program Philosophy of Science, Technology and Society
