PhD vacancy “the notion of malfunction”
The Philosophy Department of Delft University of Technology, which is one of three participants in the 3TU.Centre for Ethics and Technology, is looking for a PhD student for the project “The notion of malfunction in engineering systems”. Application is possible until February 12, 2008.
Vacancy assistant professor Ethics & Technology
The Philosophy Department of Delft University of Technology, which is one of three participants in 3TU.Ethics, is looking for an assistant professor Ethics & Technology. The Assistant Professor is expected to teach (introductory) courses in ethics and engineering for engineering students, predominantly at the Master’s level, and to perform research in the field of ethical issues relating to engineering and technology. Half of the time will be devoted to teaching and half to research. Application is possible until February 12th, 2008.

Extended deadline: Ethics, Technology & Identity
The deadline for sending in abstracts for the conference on “Ethics, Technology & Identity” (June 18-20, 2008) has been extended to January 3rd, 2008. The call for papers can be downloaded (here).
